History
West Chester, PA
1762
West Chester was created in 1762 when Phineas Eachus and Chest Waterson were issued a license to build a tavern. West Chester Borough was incorporated in 1799. One of America’s first railroads was built in 1832 and a prominent courthouse designed by Thomas U. Walter. Abraham’s first biography was also published in West Chester. West Chester became a major industrial town, thanks to Sharples Separator Works (developed the first cream separator). West Chester has many attractions to visit. Checkin & Checkout
Check-in is 3 pm-8pm on your scheduled arrival date. Check-out is by 11 a.m. on your scheduled departure date. After-hours check-ins are available by calling ahead. We currently have contactless check-in where you will receive a text message the day before your arrival with the door information and procedure.
